Audi quattro Ski Cup

Madonna di Campiglio, February 5-8, 2016

Audi quattro Ski Cup - Madonna di Campiglio 8 febbraio 2016

Madonna di Campiglio. Four days of excitement with quattro.

The appeal of competitive sport, the adrenaline rush of high speed and the pleasure of seeing how you match up to your peers: these are the emotions aroused by the Audi quattro Ski Cup. One of the legs in this international ski competition for amateurs is held in Madonna di Campiglio, the Pearl of the Dolomites, offering a unique opportunity to everyone who dreams of weaving at top speed between the slalom gates like a Ski World Cup champion.

Experiencing firsthand the magical atmosphere of the Audi FIS World Cup is no longer just a dream. With Audi quattro Ski Cup, the new Audi-branded ski event, all amateur ski enthusiasts have the chance to make the move from grandstand to starting line and take part in a full-fledged giant slalom.

From February 5 to 8, Madonna di Campiglio will offer its exclusive setting to host the fourth of six legs in the Audi quattro Ski Cup. In the three-day event, one day is reserved for ski schools (Feb 5) and one for guests at local hotels (Feb 8), providing the backdrop for the main event on Sunday February 7.

Competitors will race on a ski run groomed to perfection, with the original starting and finishing lines. Each entrant will have one run with professional timing and their finishing time will be valid for the final ranking, giving them the chance to measure themselves against the champions of yesterday and today. At the end of the race, the award ceremony will pay tribute to the fastest skiers… but not only to them! As well as rewarding the skiers who put in the best times, Audi quattro Ski Cup will also offer the special “Guess Your Time” award to the competitor who gives the best estimate of their race time.

As well as the appeal of the race, the Madonna di Campiglio event will also give enthusiasts the chance to try out the innovative equipment produced by Rossignol, the historic brand that has played a pioneering role in the world of skiing.

The event will also continue to entertain off the ski runs, with the Audi quattro experience, a unique opportunity for on and off road test drives on both the snow and a thrilling special circuit (Audi Parcour) with professional instructors. Another way to enjoy the experience of the mountains and winter.
